The handle can easily lock over-center in both extended and retracted positions, as long as it is allowed to drop below the mounting plane.

DESTACO 6001 PLUNGER CLAMP

Heavier duty version of model 601 with 50% more holding capacity while keeping the same envelope as the 601. Locks over-center in both extended and retracted positions provided the handle is allowed to fall below the mounting plane.

The base can be side-mounted
