NAAMS Stop Blocks

NAAMS standards stop blocks are used to create a stop for workpieces to rest on. They are a vital part of the automation process no matter what the application. The NAAMS catalog has two series, an ASC series, and ASF series. Both series have metric tolerances of ±0.3 to the tenth place and ±0.03 to the hundredths place.

The ASC series are crowned stop blocks with a 3mm taper on the top. They are 50mm in height, 25mm total in length and the width range offerings are 20mm, 25mm, 60mm, and 90mm. They are manufactured out of Steel SAE 1060, hardened to 55-60 hRC and finished with a black oxide coating.

The ASF series are flat stop blocks. They are offered in a 25mm, 76mm, and 90mm series. The 25mm series is 25mm in length, 50mm in height, and the width range offerings are 20mm, 25mm, 60mm, and 90mm. The 76mm series is a single block with dimensions of 76mm x 26mm x 57 with a 42mm center hole. The 90mm series has dimensions of 90mm x 26mm x 70mm with a 42mm center hole as well. NAAMS ASF stop blocks are made from SAE 1060 steel and flame hardened to 55-60 hRC 3.0mm deep.
